Patience Can Be Detrimental to Success

If life was all about planting a seed in the ground and then patiently waiting for it to grow, than everyone with patience would be successful. However, life isn’t that way, and people who patiently wait for things to happen end up with NOTHING!!!

Yes, patience of course is important, however Persistent, Creative and Flexible Thinking breaks down the barriers of time and dramatically speeds up the process of growth and creation.

No Matter What, Don’t Think Positively!

I’m really tired with all the hype about Positive Thinking.

Thinking Positively will not help me overcome obstacles if I am inflexible with my decisions and actions. Thinking Positively won’t assist me with finding solutions if I don’t accept the circumstances of my reality. So instead of thinking positively I rather Think Resourcefully.

Resourceful Thinking enables me to think Flexibly, Creatively, Critically and focuses me on finding Solutions and Opportunities. And most importantly it encourages me to see Reality and Circumstances as they are without being affected by my Rose-Colored Glasses :)

And finally, the fundamental key to Resourceful Thinking lies in asking Effective Questions. The more effective Questions I ask, the more Resourceful I shall become.

Optimism Clouds Our Sense of Reality

Years ago when I first started reading personal development books, I could not get enough of the “Positive Thinking Movement”. These books encouraged me to think Optimistically under all conditions and circumstances. At the time this seemed like a great idea. However, it ended up hurting me.

Thinking Optimistically all of the time clouded my SENSE OF REALITY and locked me away from experiencing seemingly NEGATIVE EMOTIONS that otherwise could have served me if I had understood the messages they were sending. As a result, being a pure Optimist wore me down mentally, and actually robbed me of my ability to think flexibly :(

    Breaking through Frustration

Frustration is a common emotion that we all tend to experience from time-to-time. Yet oftentimes it is very much a misunderstood emotion that is incorrectly interpreted and poorly managed.

Feeling frustrated is actually a sign that you are on the right path as long as you keep moving forward with persistence while incorporating flexible thinking tactics.
