    Finding Your Motivation for Exercise

When I initially started jogging it was difficult at times to motivate myself to exercise consistently throughout the week. However, I found that when I turned my jogging into a Psychological Race against the clock and against invisible Olympic Marathon Runners, that it made things a lot more interesting and fun icon smile Finding Your Motivation for Exercise

As I jogged, there was a Sports Commentator sitting in my head providing his/her opinion about my performance, speed, level of fitness and mental toughness. And surprisingly this Sports Commentator was my biggest fan, and always managed to get me over the line in 1st place right at the end of the race icon smile Finding Your Motivation for Exercise

Spark Your Motivation by Playing Games

Motivation is a funny thing. When I have it I can go without sleep, rest or food. However, when I don’t, I struggle to get out of bed icon sad Spark Your Motivation by Playing Games

I have found that one of the best ways to spark my motivation is to turn everything I do into a GAME. I ask myself:

“How can I make this fun and emotionally stimulating?”

Then I will sit for 5 to 10 minutes brainstorming all the ways I can think of that will add some spice and excitement to my tasks. I will literally consider any and every idea no matter how silly, because the FUNny thing is that sometimes the silliest of ideas are the most fun and enable me to find the motivation I need to get a job done icon biggrin Spark Your Motivation by Playing Games

Success is a Game of Inches and Timing

For one reason or another, it is natural for me to go through moments or lapses during the week where I simply lack the motivation or spark to get me through the day. And it is within these moments that opportunities pass me by and luck tends to slip through my fingertips.

Furthermore, I realize that Success in all aspects of life is a game of Inches, a game of Timing, and a game of Passionate Execution that makes all the difference in the end.

    Turn Pessimism into Motivating Force

No matter how many books I may have read, inspirational movies I have watched, or obstacles I have overcome, I still catch myself at times talking pessimistically about myself and about life. Sometimes I purposefully use it as a “2nd Voice” that motivates me to rise above adversity, while at other times it sneaks up on me when I least expect it icon sad Turn Pessimism into Motivating Force
