Maybe the Perfect Moment is NOW

What is the perfect time to achieve my goals?
What is the perfect moment to begin moving towards my dreams?
    Is there a perfect moment?
    Is there a right time?
Or is every moment perfect, and MY PERSPECTIVE of that moment MAKES IT WHAT IT IS?

Maybe the perfect time is today…
Maybe the perfect moment is NOW… and maybe within this moment there is an ideal opportunity waiting for me that will not present itself ever again… OR maybe the Perfect Moment shall never come, but why should this stop me from taking my chances and making it a lot of fun :)

    Creating Your Own Luck

Personally, I don’t believe in “chance luck”. What I do believe is that we create our own luck as a result of making effective, educated and well-timed decisions. This involves doing our homework, acquiring knowledge, learning new skills and cultivating the ability to persist while others decide to quit in the face of adversity.

If you hold on for long enough, opportunities always tend to present themselves.

    Deadly Psychological Boulders

Here is a scenario… I am driving home from work and I suddenly come across a big boulder laying across the road blocking my way home. What do I do? Do I resign to the fact that I will be sleeping in my car tonight? Or do I turn around and take an alternate route?

This scenario makes complete sense in the Physical World. However, when confronted with Psychological roadblocks it’s often not so easy to recognize.

    Don’t Underestimate Your Choices

We all make important decisions and some seemingly insignificant choices throughout the day. Yet, could a combination of these seemingly insignificant “choices” that we often underestimate lead us down the path of ineffective Decision Making? I know I have been there, which is why I take care not to underestimate the influence that my seemingly insignificant “choices” could have on my day, week, month, year or lifetime.

    There’s Always An Easier Way

At times I feel as though I tend to over-complicate matters. I tend to do things the long way, the hard way or whichever way leads me down the path towards perfection. At other times I tend to make too many unnecessary decisions that clutter my mind with too many thoughts and possibilities. Get a grip on yourself Adam! There is always an easier way to do something that encourages a better, quicker & simpler solution.

3 Keys to Effective Decision Making

Critical decisions are made each and everyday. Some of them have immediate consequences, while others that seem somewhat insignificant tend to impact our lives in the long-term. Making effective decisions requires a sound mind, foresight, and creativity.

    Complaining Builds Artificial Barriers

I learned today that if a decision I make hits a Brick Wall, that I shouldn’t complain about it. I must either work my way through or around it; or make a different decision that will provide me with an alternate means of tackling the situation at hand. Complaining only builds artificial Barriers that are based on limited perspectives, beliefs & habitual assumptions – none of which cultivate solution based thinking.
