    Replace Affirmations with Questions

One of the best ways I have found to dramatically improve my level of thinking about circumstances and life in general is to ask Effective Questions.

Affirmations are “Old School”. They are a passive way of conditioning the mind. Moreover, they don’t work very well if there are limiting beliefs that contradict the affirmation that is being chanted. On the other hand, Questions open up possibilities and portals for new understandings, insights and answers.

Therefore whenever I seek to improve my life circumstances, I sit back reflect and ask question after questions after question, until the right answers come my way.

    Becoming Absolutely Indispensable

In life, if we are not moving forward, improving ourselves each and every single day, learning new things, acquiring better skills, etc, than we are falling behind. However, I would assume that most people are not like this, which means that there is a clear opportunity for those that are wanting to move in this direction.

Becoming indispensable to an employer, to your family, to your team, community or group is about lifelong learning, self-improvement, building strong emotional bonds with others, and most importantly it’s about self-belief.

When you believe in yourself, others will believe in you. When others believe in you they will listen to you, be there for you and will follow you. In their eyes, you have NOW become indispensable.

    Rewiring the Brain

Did You Know… that the same parts of the brain are activated whether you are imagining a future event that never was or reflecting upon a memory from your past?

If the brain can’t tell the difference between an imagined event and a memory, does that mean that we can effectively rewire and condition our brain to BELIEVE what we want, even if What We Want we don’t consciously BELIEVE we will have?

    Change Doesn’t Happen Overnight

Changing old patterns of behavior has at times been difficult and somewhat of a challenging experience. Many times I would simply forget that long-term “change” is a process and not a Sudden Revelation. Changing old behaviors or beliefs doesn’t happen overnight, but it does happen over time with a little patience, courage, discipline and commitment.

    Today’s Beliefs Are Tomorrow’s Myths

As I mature and grow out of my old habits, perspectives and behaviors, I tend to look back and reflect upon what I’ve done, achieved and even failed to accomplish over the years. I think back to the things I falsely believed about myself, others, and life, and I wonder… if my beliefs of today will eventually become the myths of my tomorrows.
