Turning life’s Setbacks and our Psychological Limitations into something that we can use to our advantage is one of life’s greatest challenges.
When it comes to fear I have found that at times within the “fear” itself there lies a seed of opportunity that if cultivated can unlock something profound and special.
Could it potentially unlock your Life’s Passions and Purpose? If recognized early enough… it very well might.
It is said that the only certainties in life are Death & Taxes. It is also said that the concept of “certainty” is an illusion – it simply does not exist. CERTAINTY simply cannot exist in a world ruled by entropy and evolution. And if we give into the illusion that it does exist, than we clearly miss the opportunities that the process of Adversity, Change and Transformation can bring forth into our lives when it is thrust upon us.
When life gets tough and setbacks turn my life upside down, I always tend to ground myself by listening to an inspirational song or reflecting upon a “quote” that helps me gain a different perspective and understanding of my life circumstances. This new perspective often helps me find the hidden opportunity within every adversity.
Life always throws me a curve-ball when I least expect it…
Life shuts me down when I am a whisker away from victory…
Life pushes me into an emotional frenzy when I’m not paying attention…
Life breaks my spirit when I fail to recognize my full potential…
Life also teaches me that FAILURE is just another step in the right direction.
I learned today that if a decision I make hits a Brick Wall, that I shouldn’t complain about it. I must either work my way through or around it; or make a different decision that will provide me with an alternate means of tackling the situation at hand. Complaining only builds artificial Barriers that are based on limited perspectives, beliefs & habitual assumptions – none of which cultivate solution based thinking.
