Your Greatest Challenge Is An Opportunity…

When everything seems to be going wrong, this automatically presents an opportunity to test your mental resolve, creativity, adaptability and emotional strength.

Evolution is a result of life testing biological organisms and pushing them to their limits.

Evolution takes these organisms out of their Comfort Zones and onto a new and better path. Those who adapt, continue to evolve. While those who procrastinate become the Dodo’s of this world. This is how Dinosaurs became Birds and grew wings, and this is how we too evolve and take flight towards the mountain peaks of our dreams.

The Secret to Rapid Psychological Evolution

Daily Self-Reflection in my opinion is one of the easiest and fastest methods of making progress in life.

I make plenty of mistakes throughout the day by saying something stupid, doing something silly, or simply not doing something that I should. These things do not define who I am unless I accept them as being a part of me. And I don’t accept them as a part of me because every night I take the time to alter these circumstances in my mind. I consequently learn from my mistakes and hopefully become a little wiser in the days to come ;)

Pattern Recognition: Your Key to Success

Success in any field of endeavor is dependent upon our ability to identify patterns within our niche or industry.

Those who come to understand, learn to effectively manage, and take action upon these patterns have the advantage of knowing:

    - What to do.
    - How to do it.
    - Where to do it, at just the perfect moment in time.

Those who don’t recognize these patterns, simply struggle to keep up :(

    When Bad Things Happen…

When seemingly bad things happen, I always say to myself:

“Good, bad… who really knows? …it’s probably too early to tell.”

Then I smile :) and continue on with my day fully knowing that I can’t judge a book by its cover and expect to know how the story ends ;)

    Coaching Yourself to Success

What is the secret to Self-Coaching success?

It is all about knowing how to ask the right Questions, in the right way, in the correct sequence, at the right time. This is in essence what Life Coaches are trained to do, and Self-Coaching is no different.

    The True Meaning of Optimism

True Optimism is about “Solution Oriented Realism”. It’s about taking into account the Good, Bad and the Ugly, then flexibly weighing up the Problems and Opportunities with the Resources one has at one’s disposal, then deciding whether sacrificing in the MOMENT will reap Big rewards in the future.

Yes… True Optimism is about knowing when to take 2 steps backwards before moving forwards once again.

The other type of Optimism is the kind where people don’t seem to feel the weight of their problems on their shoulders, they don’t see the weeds that are destroying their dreams, and they fail to understand that life isn’t a straight line forward, but rather a curved line that turns in on itself time after time before moving forward once again.

Emotional Discomfort is the Key to Success

A personal Mentor of mine once told me that in order to succeed in life I must become comfortable with feeling emotionally uncomfortable for an indefinite amount of time. Only then will I develop the necessary mental stamina, strength and resilience to deserve to accomplish my goals and objectives.

Furthermore, he informed me that goals aren’t achieved but rather they are ATTRACTED by the person I become as a result of the consistent discomfort I successfully and proactively face as I move through life.

    Replace Affirmations with Questions

One of the best ways I have found to dramatically improve my level of thinking about circumstances and life in general is to ask Effective Questions.

Affirmations are “Old School”. They are a passive way of conditioning the mind. Moreover, they don’t work very well if there are limiting beliefs that contradict the affirmation that is being chanted. On the other hand, Questions open up possibilities and portals for new understandings, insights and answers.

Therefore whenever I seek to improve my life circumstances, I sit back reflect and ask question after questions after question, until the right answers come my way.

Life is Not About Winning, It’s About Losing!

Someone once taught me that Life isn’t about winning, it’s rather about LOSING… your inhibitions, fears, limiting beliefs, emotions and doubts. It’s only once these parasites have been completely eradicated from your Psychology can you finally begin to experience life as it was supposed to be lived.

Pinching Could Stop You from Procrastinating

There are many reasons why people procrastinate. And likewise there are many solutions for each of these procrastinators. However, when it comes down to it the key to beating procrastination is to associate more PAIN to procrastinating, than to NOT procrastinating. This could simply involve imagining a horrible, dark, grim future if I continue procrastinating, or better yet, each time I recognize I am procrastinating, I will inflict pain by PINCHING myself in the same spot. My brain soon realizes that procrastination may not be such a good idea ;)

Simple, yet potentially very powerful technique.
